Quarry Lamps by Benjamin Hubert for De La Espada

This lighting designs called Quarry pendant lamps, designed by Benjamin Hubert for Spanish furniture brand De La Espada. Like its name, this collection consist of a series of thin-walled marble pendant lights. According the designer: ” The lamps utilize the natural stone’s translucent properties to diffuse the lights and reveal its veining. The traditional material is offset by the use of an LED, which allows the large hand-turned internal cavity to remain open and uncluttered. AKFD manage the factories the lamps are produced in, ensuring fair working terms, and actively pushes for safer working conditions”. [via]
